Tarun J. Edwin Tarun John Edwin is an accomplished biomedical engineer, with more than 18 years of experience designing, developing, and manufacturing biomedical devices. He is also an avid inventor, with 25 issued patents in his name and numerous others pending. He has worked for several medical device companies in the roles of Manufacturing Engineer, R&D Engineer, Manager of New Technology Development, as well as company Patent Officer, so is familiar with all these segments of a business. As Project Manager, he has led numerous projects and his teams were responsible for more than five approved 510k submissions and one very complicated IDE-PMA. In his last position as Senior R&D Program Manager, he was responsible for 4 major projects, one of which included a PMA clinical trial. Tarun has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University, a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University, and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas. He recently completed the Global Bio-Entrepreneurship Course at the California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences at UCSF. |
Suchit Jacob Suchit Jacob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bemidji State University, Minnesota U.S.A. His degree emphasis was in Marketing and this has been his focus over the past 12 years. He can handle all functions of marketing, from customer selection to the proposal stage and then up to closing and managing of accounts. He also has sales experience, and has managed sales teams capable of meeting aggressive company goals and sales forecast. Suchit has spent the last 5 years researching and studying the medical device landscape in Malaysia specifically, and Asia in general including clinical applications, reimbursement guidelines, distribution channels, pricing schemes, utilization rates, and the competition. He has constructed a marketing plan which will allow BIOVIC to become a brand name in S.E. Asia and eventually worldwide. |
